Our Family
We are not a huge kennel and treat each one of our dogs as a member of the family. We hope all our puppies go to similar caring homes.

My family always had Labradors. My latest Lab, Kyra was a little more energetic as a puppy than most. And I liked it. This lead me to researching other gundogs and I found the Brittany. Energetic, keen retrievers as well as an all rounder gundog. I was taken in by their size, colouring, coat the the promise of spirit and drive.
Skeet popped into my life in 2020, I had no idea what I was in for with this little furry shark. But she turned out to be great fun and a awesome sporting companion.

Brie arrived in 2023. When I was offered her my first answer was no way. I can't have another Brittany, I'm about to live in a caravan for at least 4 months. But how could I say no to that face. And this started up my dream of breeding my own dogs a few years earlier than planned.
She came along in the caravan for a half lap of Australia, leaving as a little puppy and returning almost full grown. A few 'teething' issues, but all went well and they were great company.

The thing that sold me on the Brittany is their energetic nature, happy faces with their triangle ears and their intelligence! The speed and effort they put into learning and obtaining their rewards still amazes me. I've entered trials as a novice, not knowing how to perform or realising I haven't taught the dogs correctly. Quickly training there and then and come away with a qualifying rounds and placings.

The training is by far my favourite activity. Dog training has now become a passion. We love learning new things. The moment the dog clicks and realises how to get the reward is the greatest.

Training two is twice the fun and twice the challenge at times. Both are doing well and are doing their part to represent the breed. I look forwards to the future to see where our skills will lead us next.
