"Brie"
Brains, beauty, and a bum wiggle that never quits — She spins, swims, and still has time to chase rabbits.
Brie is my little orange and white firecracker. A natural bobtail American Brittany with a tiny bit of French in her pedigree. Like any typical Brittany, she loves chasing a scent almost as much as a rabbit and has a strong point. Especially when it comes to feathers and bugs!
She stands at 483mm (19 inches) at the shoulder and weighs around 14kg. She’s currently competing in the 500mm (20-inch) height category in agility. She clears those bars easily with her spring.
Brie comes from lines which have produced champion show & performance dogs including field champions in America and a triple and several dual champions in Australia of various disciplines. As my first foundation bitch, I'm hoping she will also join these special dogs and be mother to future champions.
At two years old, she’s earned a collection of performance titles and become an Australian Champion in conformation. This speedy little girl also competes in agility, rally and tricks. She’s still quite young and has only ran in a handful of agility trials so far with some beautiful passes and titles in NADAC, and some very close runs in ANKC. (Pity about her handler keeping up!)
She’s also turning into quite the trick star, already picking up some of the advanced tricks from Skeet. I swear she watches and takes notes.
She’s just discovered how awesome retrieving is and now loves racing back with anything she can carry — balls, dummies, game... and the occasional shoe. RATG and retrieving will be in her future, as long as I can trust her to come out of the water when called. She loves a swim!
